Easter Weekend

Another crazy weekend for us, as always! Friday night we went out to my folks house and visited Aunt Jennifer and kids and Kalli got the flu, of course never fun and I had to work on Saturday morning, I had no one to fill in for me! :( Colby decided to stay out there all night with his cousins and he got the flu so Troy headed out there in the morning to get him. Kalli was fine by the morning. Colby took a nap from 12 to 2. So we missed the Easter Egg Hunt in town. But after Colby took his nap he was fine too. So off to the big birthday party at Lizzy's which Colby did not want to miss. Grandma and Grandpa Hoskovec were down and Uncle Mitch and Aunt Sarah. There was fun from all. Then everyone came to our house in the evening to dye Easter Eggs. Easter morning rolled around and I knew my time was coming for the flu. I was able to watch the kids find Easter eggs in the house and take over the food I had gotten ready the night before including breakfast, but after that I pretty much stayed home the rest of the day. I want to Thank my Mother and Father-in-law and all the kids aunts and uncles for helping to keep an eye on the kids and making Easter FUN for them. Also thanks to Aunt Sarah and Grandma for all the cool Easter stuff! You guys are the "BEST"! WHAT WOULD WE DO WITH OUT YOU!

Saturday night we colored Easter Eggs. It was a very QUICK process, but fun! I think the kids enjoyed themselves!

Here are our eggs for Uncle Mitch and Aunty Sarah! They usually always color eggs, but were busy this year, so we all pitched in and made them eggs!

Lizzie's Birthday

Saturday Todd and Gayle had a birthday party for Lizzy. She turned 3, just like Colby she said! She got some really neat toys and lots of clothes. Even some jewelry, what every girl wants! I think she had a good birthday!

Colby and Lizzy are like an old married couple. They argue and fight and then next thing you know they are right beside each other playing nice and saying I love you! What a couple of cuties!

MOPS and Easter

We had another good day at MOPS. Today Colby cried when I dropped him off down there. That is one of the hardest things is to leave a crying child. I hate it, I always think I should just go home! But he ended up being fine. Tonight he was talking about his day. He told me who his friends were who were there, which was everyone and told me who was naughty! He even told me who brought special treats. Of course I heard all day about there Easter egg hunt and how much fun that was, of course! I asked him tonight what did you learn today and what did you do for your lesson? He told me that they put up a picture of Jesus with thorns and he died. I said yes, he died for you and for me and for all of us! He will rise again. He said ya they talked about that. Then he asked where does God live? I said in Heaven. He said we should go see him. I said we will SOME day. I said well he is with us everyday and IN everything that we do. Colby said he is in our mouths and tummy and I said well ya. Of course Colby giggled! He goes well maybe we could call him sometime and he could come over. I said well I don't know his number. Colby told me he thinks the number is 112444. So if you are looking to call God, we got his number!!! This conversation I LOVED! I find it amazing to hear Colby trying to figure it all out and I hope I can help to answer at least some of his questions, but I know I will need help. At least I have God's personal phone number now! But if I can't get through I might be asking for help from all of you, just giving you all the heads up.

Well Prom has come and gone for Wau-Pal and everyone looked great! Both my niece and nephew were there and both looked fabulous! I am so proud of them and in all they do! I know they both are going to go far in there lives no matter what they chose.

1. I love t.v. If I could I would sit and watch t.v. all the time.

2. I wash my hands ALOT! I had to get finger printed for the post office job and they asked if I washed dishes for a living. They said they could tell I wash my hands alot!

3. I HATE to clean!

4. I consider myself shy and quiet at least until I get to know someone, I tell that to some of my family and friends and they laugh out loud.

5. I would love to go jump on a 4-wheeler and drive through mud holes and get covered in mud, but I would hate to clean my clothes afterwards!!!

6. I enjoy flowers and gardening, but I do not have a green thumb! My flowers always seem to die.

7. I don't like to go shopping. I LOVE new clothes, but I hate the fact that you have to try them on!

8. I've been known to make cookie dough and never bake cookies, just eat the dough.

9. I act really tough when someone sees me get hurt, but when I am at home or with Troy I am a BIG baby!

What a Weekend!

Troy had an EXTRA Long weekend. Troy, his dad Mike, Michael Andrew and Frank Smith Jr. all drove to the state of Virginia and back this weekend. Their purpose to bring home Troy's dads new 1986 Corvette. This make his 3rd Corvette that he owns right now! But I think they all agree they don't ever plan on traveling nonstop that for a LONG time, if ever again! The trip there I think took 29 to 30 hours and was a little over 1500 miles. The way home was 1600 some miles. They had planned on it taking a little bit shy of 24 hours to get there, but they ran into a blizzard!! Troy said he didn't get to see a lot of the country because he was concentrating on driving or it was dark out. Oh well! Troy did not take a camera, which I can only imagine some of the pictures I would have gotten from them after being in a vehicle from Friday Morning at 6 AM to Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. with MY camera, girls, their butts, and you can use your imagination. But we are happy they made it home safely! Troy said the best part was he met a lot of really nice people along the way. He said if they stopped Troy would talk to people and ask directions or just visit and everyone was nice!

The car even has a t.v. It came this way from the factory it was originally over $30,000. It was a pace car in 1986 too.

By Special Request!!

I was asked to put up a picture of my tattoo, so here it is! It isn't the best picture, but you get the idea. It is on my foot and says Count Your Blessings and has Colby and Kalli's names on it. I love it and it is something I have always wanted to get. Yes it did hurt! I want to add behind it the sun, so that way it looks like the cross is at sunset, with all the pretty colors. I love sunrise and sunset!

My Day Out

A week ago on Leap Day I got to get away for the day. I dropped the kids off at my mom and dads and went to Kearney with my sisters. We ate at the Mongolian Grill, which is a fun place to eat and it is good. We went to a few shops around town and then to the mall. It was a great time. Plus we got some new clothes ON SALE, always the best!

These were taken at the Mongolian Grill. It was the first place we went to when we got to Kearney. On the way I told my sisters I wanted to get a picture taken with them some where since we were all together! Who could ask for a better place, since we all love to eat! I think the guy really is Mongolian too, because he talked in a different language on the phone, or maybe he was just trying to impress us, either way it worked for me!

When Jennifer asked if we could get our picture taken with this guy she pointed to me and said I was from out of town, which I am, but it sounded like I was from some other country or something. So this picture really makes me laugh, because he put his arm around me and he is like leaning towards me! I think he liked being asked to get his picture taken with us, but who wouldn't!!!!

Farm Life

I love the fact that even though we do not live on a farm, that my kids can still experience it all. It is calving season out to my dads and there has been a couple of sets of twins already, which mean bucket calves. Colby goes right out and checks on them as soon as we get to "THE RANCH!"

Patti Fanning invited us to stop over and see her sheep and goats. She has baby kids and lambs. One kid is her pet it was a triplet and its name is Peanuts. She feeds it a bottle. Peanuts would follow us, the rest would run. A few were sleeping when we got there so Colby would sneak up and caught them. Once they were awake they would run and Colby chased them and chased them. The moms would stop and put there head down, but Colby was not scared, he would just put up his arms and say hey! He is not scared of much! Thanks Patti for the chance to check them all out!
