Never Let a Country Girl...

WARNING: BE CAREFUL DRIVING BY THE HOSKOVEC'S HOUSE!
NEVER LET A COUNTRY GIRL LOOSE WITH HER KIDS ON A NICE DAY IN TOWN!!
What might happen??
Well they might just strip down and play!! At least Colby kept on his underwear, he said the water was a little bit cold, my feet said it was alot COLD! What a goof, must get it from his dad!! OK I will admit when I was his age I would strip down and play in the mud holes at the farm! Mud and water is the BEST!

As soon as I snapped this photo Kalli started choking on mud! Colby could not believe I let Kalli play in the mud. Don't worry she was OK!

Colby's First...

Colby's First Motorcycle Ride! He was pretty proud that he got to go for a ride, even before mom has gotten to go with dad!

Nebraska

Kalli is in there somewhere, I think she is trying to figure out what her brother is doing?

Colby Jay didn't understand why mom didn't want to play in the snow!
Cousins on the swings!
Out for one of our many walks! Hey wait for Me!
My Flowers!

Well as they always say, If you don't like the weather in Nebraska today, just wait till tomorrow! What a crazy week of weather, from rain, to snow and on to 80 degree days! But of course we made the most of it, I didn't have babysitters this week, so me and the kids stayed home! Well actually my mom had been gone to Texas for a week with some of her friends and Colby stayed 2 days and nights with my dad. I think they both enjoyed it! When I finally got Colby home, Troy asked him how his vacation was? Colby said Great! Troy asked when do I get to go on vacation? Colby said go out to Papa's and Mike's (my brothers) its great you get to fix fence, check cows, feed cows, help Mike work on tractors all the stuff you want to do on vacation! Only my son! But we got to go to MOPS this week and take walks and even play in the snow and play with our cousins, what more could a almost 4 year old ask for?

As for Kalli, she still has NO TEETH! Plus she is VERY CRANKY, running a High Fever and just wants to be held, so I am hoping some of those teeth pop through quick so her and I can get some sleep. I can feel some on the bottom. She has slept all afternoon, she needed it!

Needing Some Input!

Ok everyone I need some help! I have a couple of part time jobs and have 2 calendars just to keep me and my family on track and to figure out where we are going which day. My mom babysits my kids which is the best thing in the world, but when she is gone, I have a terrible time finding a babysitter. I am always searching for other part time jobs, because I don't have a steady schedule and I might make a lot one week and very little the next! SO, I am considering opening up a daycare in Wauneta, since there is none. But I don't know if I could stay busy enough or how many people need daycare in Wauneta. Or how much people are willing to spend? So I am asking you to leave your comments or email me at hosky@bwtelcom.net to let me know what you think?!? Thanks for all the comments I am sure you will all leave! Good or bad!

Colby Reading Goldilocks and the 3 Bears

Colby Loves to Read Books! Ever since he was little he has loved books. So lately when I get tired of reading I tell him to read it to me. Some days they are really funny. But he tells this one pretty good!

Boys and Their Toys

Troy's birthday was March 30th and we didn't do too much. Poor Troy, but he did get what he wanted, a 1985 Yamaha Motorcycle. He is going to use it to drive back and forth to work and of course to go have some fun! He can't wait for nice weather to go drive!

Of course whatever dad is excited about so is Colby. He put on one of the helmets and enjoys goofing around. He really wants to go for a ride with his dad, hopefully next week is nice and they can go out! Colby is so his dads son, he knows every ones vehicle in town. We will be driving down the street and he will say oh look they are at the grocery store, I have to look a second time and say oh ya you are right!

OK, so I have been trying to find a car for a long time, since gas prices just keep going up and up!And I have been driving a 1988 Chevy Suburban, only getting 15 mpg. Troy bought me a car on Sunday, it isn't exactly what I wanted but hey it will work and I won't complain at all! It is really nice on the inside and lots of room when we travel! It is a 1997 Crown Vic.
Also to those who know us and have been in our garage did you notice anything?
It is clean and has 2 vehicles and a motorcycle in it, can you believe it!!!

Kalli's 9 month Check UP

OK I am a little bit behind on check ups for Kalli. She will be 10 months on the 15th, but at least we got it done. She is health and doing great. She weighs 19 lbs and 6 oz. Still NO TEETH! Which I think bugs me more than her or anyone else. I can't remember her height off the top of my head, oh boy I am a bad mom. She is crawling and getting into everything and Colby is not enjoying it. Yesterday he had his farm animals on the couch in the toy room. Kalli was in there and he said, "Mom can you take Kalli out of here!" I told him I could but that she would just come back. He said hold her and give her some milk!! I said she is not hungry and that this is how life is going to be now and that we could put them up on the table. He told me he doesn't want it to be this way. I think he threw a fit then, while Kalli played with one of his 12 cows.

Advise

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; It just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to every one's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, Never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up. Remember the these simple rules to be happy: Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
Live simply and appreciate what you have.
Give more.Expect less
NOW ............
Enough of that crap . . . The donkey later came back, and bit the farmer who had tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected and the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock. MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON: When you do something wrong, and try to cover your ass, it always comes back to bite you.

Trouble 1, Trouble 2

Not a whole lot has been going on with us! We FINALLY got over the flu, we don't recommend it. It kicked our butt. Otherwise we have spent a lot of time inside. Kalli is really crawling and getting into more stuff. I have heard boys get into alot of stuff, but it is my little girl who is causing more trouble. The other day Colby yelled mom Kalli is on the table. She had crawled down one step, onto the couch and onto the table. Of course when I got my camera, Colby had to sit on there too!

SO BIG!

Doesn't this picture just show how ornery he can be! Trouble #1!

OK what mom or dad doesn't like to brag about there kids, so here I go, everyone tells me the kids have the most beautiful eyes and I have to agree! Yes dirty faces and get into everything they can but beautiful eyes!
