Colby Starts Kindergarten!!!!

Colby is now in Kindergarten and says Kindergarten is "Happy"! He has surprised us so much the last 2 weeks. He doesn't throw a fit that he doesn't want to go and seems more grown up, which is a little sad for mom. He says the best part is recess, but I have heard him talk about pretty much all of it. There are 14 kids in his class and only 3 are girls, so good luck to the teachers.

Kalli misses her brother but is doing just fine, she had to be in the pictures that morning too!

If you look closely you will see Colby pushing Kalli out of the picture, oh the love! But they are both usually pretty happy to see each other at the end of the day!

If the child is good they get a Thumb Buddy and Colby has gotten one everyday so far, we are pretty proud of our son!

Chase County Fair = FUN!

The Chase County Fair was fun again this year, we didn't do as much as we usually do, but still had fun and ate some GOOD food!

We went to the parade with family, here is Sabrina and the girls getting candy. The parade was LONG 1 1/2 hours!

My Birthday

For my birthday my mom and dad took us out to Front Street in Ogallala, NE! I have never been there before and it was alot of fun! I highly recommend going there for dinner and the show if you want some entertainment without driving a long ways.

Swimming Lessons

This was our first year for swimming lessons and we should go to the pool more, but we don't. No excuse! Colby enjoyed it though and got better everyday.

The last day Colby got brave enough to go off of the low diving board with a little help not once but twice!

This is Colby and Tyler. Tyler is our neighbor boy who Colby has never really talked too. Now since Tyler was who helped Colby with swimming lessons, he says Tyler is his best friend! I love kids!

Colby finally brave enough to go down the slide, but we have to slow him down and catch him, hey a work in progress!

New Baby

On July 14th we welcomed a new family member Rachel Alexandra Hoskovec weighing in at 8lbs. 13 oz and 21 inches long. Todd and Gayle Hoskovec are the proud parents and Liz and Sam the proud big sisters. I had the girls that day and when we got the call, I told Lizzie you have a sister, she jumped up and down and shouted Hooray! Then she looked at me and said the next one better be a boy! Well not sure if there will be a next one or not but we all think she is pretty cute!

Sadly to say Todd's family moved away to Bayard, NE as soon as the baby was born, in fact the day they were released from the hospital they headed up there. We miss having them as neighbors and will miss getting to see the girls whenever we wanted too! But wish them the best of luck on there new adventures!

Sunday's at the Lake

We have been trying to get things done on Saturday and Sunday mornings and hanging out at the lake on Sundays. We might do a little fishing, take a ride on the boat, play in the water or if friends come along take a ride with them! We love family time!

I like this picture! This is our new purchase a boat! Yep nothing fancy and it takes a lot of man power! But it has been funny for our family!

Father's Day

My dad has a little boat and he had never taken out on the water, so on Father's day we took it out. We all had a lot of fun and caught a couple of fish!

Kalli Turned 2

Kalli turned 2 in June! She is growing up so fast. She is a daddy's girl for sure and can get away with about anything. She loves to do whatever Colby is doing and it upsets him sometimes. We had a great day celebrating and thank God for letting up have her. I don't know what we would do with out our kids!
